Job Overview We are seeking a clinically grounded and technically minded Informatics Pharmacist to help shape the future of our pharmacy operations. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to optimize healthcare technology, enhance medication safety, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities System Optimization: Manage and support pharmacy informatics systems, technologies, and workflows across our main facility and affiliated locations. Safety & Efficiency: Enhance medication safety and operational efficiency through continuous system improvements and smart technology utilization. Program Oversight: Support and assist in managing drug diversion monitoring programs and tracking tools. Medication Integrity: Maintain the integrity of the medication-use process and the pharmacy supply chain. Pharmaceutical Care: Provide patient-centered care, including dispensing and drug information, in accordance with hospital standards and pharmacy law. Technologies You Will Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) Pharmacy automation systems and automated dispensing cabinets Smart IV pump technology Barcoding and scanning technologies (BCMA) Medication safety monitoring and drug diversion tracking platforms Qualifications Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program [Required] Licensure: Current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure [Highly Preferred] Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience [Required] Residency: ASHP-accredited residency [Preferred] Certifications: Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or related certification [Preferred] Technical Skills: Experience in pharmacy automation, informatics, or IT applications. Knowledge of EHRs and regulatory requirements for controlled substances is a plus.
