Project Manager – DAS Location: Sarasota, FL (Travel up to 70%) Duration: 12 Months (Contract) Employment Type: W2 Contract About the Role NextGen is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Client in managing in-building Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Public Safety Communication projects across the Southeast region. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery — from design coordination and installation to commissioning and customer handoff — ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage system installation projects such as DAS, video, and base station systems. Coordinate project design, scheduling, and customer requirements. Conduct site surveys, bid walks, and prepare project documentation. Oversee procurement, material tracking, and system commissioning. Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with NFPA, fire, and electrical codes for Public Safety systems. Supervise acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and closeout documentation. Lead field teams while upholding safety, quality, and operational standards. Required Qualifications 5–8+ years of project management experience in in-building DAS / Public Safety Systems . Proven experience managing projects for OEM systems such as TX/RX, Westell, Comba, ADRF, or Solid . Familiarity with NFPA , fire, and building codes. Strong organizational, scheduling, and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and Outlook . Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50–70% . Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial, multifamily, or high-rise construction projects . Hands-on understanding of DAS commissioning, testing, and integration . Background in Public Safety communications or First Responder Radio systems .
