Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Companion Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Companion to provide exceptional care and companionship to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will prioritize the well-being, comfort, and dignity of clients, fostering a supportive and respectful environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, changes in health, or other medical observations, reporting concerns to appropriate healthcare personnel. Provide companionship by engaging in meaningful conversations, activities, and recreational outings to enhance emotional well-being. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration. Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces. Administer prescribed medications under supervision (if applicable and in compliance with regulations). Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or errands as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of care and follow individualized care plans. Qualifications: Active CNA certification Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or nursing assistance is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification/TB Test is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients safely.
