Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our team in the bridge and highway construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques, construction practices, and restoration processes. This role requires hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing tasks on construction sites, ensuring quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Execute carpentry tasks with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Engage in concrete forming and rebar installation as required. Assist in excavation, drainage, and other maintenance person tasks as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and physical labor on-site. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences: Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry. Familiarity with restoration industry practices is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with various construction techniques including concrete forming, rebar installation, drainage pipe installation, and excavation. Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team on diverse projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
