Overview As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the manufacturing facilities. What you’ll do Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance. Install motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other such equipment. Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical and electrical systems using your strong technical skills. read hydraulic schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic problems, and repair hydraulic valves, cylinders, and pumps Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control machinery operations effectively. Conduct welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity and functionality. Read and interpret schematics to execute repairs accurately and efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks. Proficiency in electrical systems with the ability to use tools like an ohmmeter for diagnostics. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory. Preferred qualifications Background in manufacturing environments with an understanding of production processes. Must be able to wear protective toed, electrical hazard shoes when working.
