Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description As a Quality Inspector, you will determine and utilize appropriate inspection methods and instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, radius gauges, and calipers, to complete in-process and final inspection of machined aerospace parts and assemblies. You will initiate nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements, continually strive to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency, and communicate effectively with internal and external personnel to address issues and trends.
Responsibilities • Utilize appropriate inspection methods and instruments for inspecting aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Initiate nonconformance records and handle the disposition of parts not meeting requirements.
• Support process improvements to enhance inspection effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with personnel to troubleshoot and resolve non-conforming parts and necessary re-inspection.
• Complete other duties as required.
Essential Skills • Experience operating a CMM using PC-DMIS software.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and various gauges.
• Quality inspection and assurance expertise.
• Capability to conduct visual inspections and use a tape measure.
• Accuracy in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering documents.
• Advanced mathematical skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • Completion of internal training for Level I Inspectors and periodic recertification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment This position is set in an industrial environment with shifts from Friday to Sunday, 8 PM to 8 AM. A competitive pay rate with a 15% shift differential for the night weekend shift is offered.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, GA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
