Information Systems Manager
The IS (Information Systems) Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, operation, and continuous improvement of RWDC’s information systems and technology environment. This role oversees computer systems, networks, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, databases, and end-user support. The IT (Information Systems) Manager partners with organizational leaders to evaluate, design, and implement technology solutions and policies that support business objectives, operational reliability, security, and scalability. This position also leads the planning and execution of transitions from existing/legacy platforms to new systems ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, storage, and
• telecommunications.
• Design, build, and support complex on-premise and cloud-based network and infrastructure architectures and systems across manufacturing and corporate operations.
• Oversee routine maintenance, patching, backup, and disaster recovery for all systems and databases.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and systems issues, coordinating internal resources and external vendors as required.
Information Systems, Applications & Architecture
• Evaluate existing hardware and software systems and implement improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage the enterprise architecture function, ensuring appropriate alignment of business, information, application, and technical architectures.
• Administer and support ERP systems including upgrades, integrations, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee programming and systems initiatives intended to improve overall system performance and business efficiency.
Data, Security & Governance
• Plan and maintain data technology operations and data centralization platforms and processes ensuring data integrity, availability, governance, and security across all platforms.
• Lead cybersecurity practices, including network segmentation, access controls, monitoring, and incident response.
• Manage Internet domain administration, website administration, and associated security controls.
Planning, Budgeting & Vendor Management
• Develop and manage the IT operating budget; monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Select, evaluate, and manage IT vendors and service providers in coordination with Procurement.
• Manage contracts, licensing agreements, renewals, and service-level expectations.
• Oversee evaluation, procurement, deployment, licensing, and lifecycle management of IT platforms and tools.
Strategic Alignment & Leadership
• Partner with site and functional leaders to develop short- and long-term technology roadmaps aligned with RWDC’s business goals.
• Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide guidance and leadership on emerging technologies, including cloud services, automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
Experience Requirements
10-15 years of progressive IS Management experience supporting Manufacturing/Corporate Operations
Strong experience with Windows/Linux Servers, cloud platforms, networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN)
Familiarity with industrial environments, including PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial automation, and segmented networks.
Demonstrated Problem Solving and Project Management capabilities.
Hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft 365 administration (certification required)

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Preferred certifications:
• Cisco CCNP or CCNA
• Fortinet
• Microsoft Server / Exchange / Microsoft 365
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Food and Beverage Manufacturing, and Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing
