Job Description
The Part-Time IT Inventory & Logistics Clerk is responsible for managing the organization’s technology inventory and overseeing the shipping and receiving of IT equipment. This role ensures accurate tracking of assets, timely fulfillment of equipment requests, and smooth coordination with vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Clerk’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.
• Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and peripheral inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder equipment as needed.
• Organize and maintain storage areas (e.g., MDF/IDF rooms) for easy access and cleanliness.
• Shipping & Receiving
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments of IT equipment.
• Verify and document all deliveries and returns.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Equipment Setup & Support
• Prepare and configure laptops, desktops, and other devices for deployment.
• Assist with minor help desk tasks related to equipment installation.
• Vendor & Budget Coordination
• Work with vendors to secure competitive pricing and manage purchase orders.
• Support IT leadership in tracking costs and maintaining budget compliance.
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or IT support.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with IT hardware and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking systems
