Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician Level 2 will report to the Technical Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for
troubleshooting and repairing all production equipment safely and timely.
Shift Hours: 6:00 am-3:30 pm

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment
• Responsible for reviewing, revising, improving, and performing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures
• Generate, distribute, and complete work orders and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and practices and complying with legal codes and regulations, and audit team members for adherence to policies
• Work with the Production Management Team on equipment repair priorities based on overall customer demand and SLA
• Lead projects including new equipment installations and facility layout changes
• Identify, propose, and lead continuous improvement projects
• Mentor Maintenance Technician Level 1 and assist supervision in creating targeted training plans based on skillsets
Required Skills/Education
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Associates degree/trade certification or 5+ years of relevant Industrial Maintenance experience in one of the following disciplines:
• Industrial Maintenance
• Electronics
• Mechatronics
• Computer Science
• Networking/Infrastructure
• Robotics
• Hydraulics
• PLCInternal and External Customer Service Focus
• Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools
• Advanced mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and comprehend service manuals and equipment schematics
• Advanced knowledge of computers/networking
• Ability to work independently under general supervision and in a teamwork environment
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including three shifts, holidays, and weekends as dictated by the business needs
Desired Skills
• Experience with CMMS
• Project Management experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, root cause, waste, Gemba, etc
• Previous industry-based experience
