Industrial Electrical & Controls Technician role responsible for troubleshooting and supporting production equipment, including Allen-Bradley PLC/PanelView access, programming support, and electrical diagnostics.
Job Requirements
•
3+ years of experience working on production equipment
•
Two-year vocational/technical degree in Industrial Electronics and Controls or 2+ years of industrial electrical and controls experience
•
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC products and ladder logic (preferred/required as applicable)
•
Ability to access, modify, and upload/download PLC and PanelView programs
•
Proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, multimeters, amp-meters, megohmmeters, power meters, process meters)
•
Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools
•
Computer proficiency for reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and project tracking (Microsoft Office or equivalent)
Preferred Skills
•
PLC programming experience (required for 1st shift coverage)
•
Experience supporting HMI/PanelView applications
Job Responsibilities
•
Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on production equipment to sustain plant production
•
Perform PLC/HMI (PanelView) program access, edits, and upload/download activities as required
•
Use test and measurement equipment to diagnose failures, verify repairs, and document results
•
Create and maintain maintenance documentation, reports, and basic project tracking files
•
Use hand and power tools to complete electrical-related repairs and adjustments
Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
