Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Laboratory Blood Bank Supervisor, Fulltime, St Mary’s Hospital, in Athens, GAPosition Purpose:Responsible for the daily operation of the Blood Bank DepartmentWhat you will do: This includes staffing, training, scheduling, supply management and the supervision of testing performed.Responsible for maintaining policy and procedures in accordance with CAP guidelines, and monitoring of quality control practices in the Core Lab. Must also recognize results or problems that require referral to the Pathologist or Laboratory Director.What you will need:Licensure/Certification/Registration: Medical Technologist, ASCP, AMT or NCAEducation: B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, 5 years’ experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT may be substituted for degree.Experience: 5 or more years’ experience is preferred.Position Highlights and Benefits:Day 1 benefits, no waiting period!
