Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist with expertise in lymphedema therapy. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients dealing with lymphedema and related conditions using specialized techniques.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with lymphedema or related conditions.
Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) including:
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD).
Compression bandaging and garment fitting.
Therapeutic exercises.
Skin care education.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and caregivers on home management and prevention.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
License as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT).
Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from an accredited program (e.g., CLT or equivalent) or extensive experience treating lymphedema patients.
Strong knowledge of the lymphatic system and related conditions.
Ability to work compassionately with patients experiencing chronic conditions.
