Job Responsibilities: Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair Proficient with Ford warranty diagnosis and repair process Possess knowledge in operating Ford VCM and FDRS software. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands Keep shop area neat and clean Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor Job Requirements: Excellent customer service skills a must Product knowledge and tire quick service experience is a plus The successful applicant must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills required Knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system; diagnostic equipment and A/C equipment is a must About Athens Ford: This position is eligible for a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and matching 401k Paid Vacation Air-conditioned Shop On the job paid training Longevity Bonus Lots of opportunity for growth.
