Our client is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble, debug, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment, fixtures, and tools. This role supports equipment built in-house as well as equipment installed at customer locations. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Automation Assembly Technician
Pay: $30-$45/hour depending on experience

Shift: 1 st shift Monday through Friday (7:00am-3:30pm)
Location: Kutztown, PA
Responsibilities:
•
Assemble mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components of automated equipment.
•
Route pneumatic tubing and electrical wiring.
•
Fabricate machine guarding and framing using aluminum extrusion, polycarbonate, and sheet metal.
•
Perform machining or rework of parts as needed.
•
Troubleshoot and adjust mechanical systems.
•
Service equipment at customer sites (occasional travel required).
•
Prepare equipment for shipment; operate forklift and pallet jack.
•
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
•
2+ years working with mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, or related equipment.
•
5+ years machining experience (CAM or conversational programming preferred).
•
Ability to read engineering and CAD drawings.
•
Proficient with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools.
•
Able to lift 75 lbs and stand for an entire shift.
•
Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•
Basic computer skills; CAD file viewing ability a plus.
•
Must supply personal hand tools.
