We are looking for a highly driven individual that will assist the location in a variety of duties.Essential Functions: Greet and provide customer service for visitorsReceive incoming calls, screen and direct calls to the appropriate destinationCreate customer invoices and issue credits utilizing VCC MaxAssist customers with invoicing questionsFile receivers and invoices when necessaryCreate new customer files and run trade referencesTake customer payment on COD orders or when necessaryReceive, code and reconcile all accounts payable invoices and statementsTrack zinc inventory in QADMonitor office supply inventoryPickup, open and distribute mail dailyThis position reports directly to the site General ManagerOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):Associate’s Degree or combination of education plus 3-5 years Business/Accounting experienceA strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft OutlookThe ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructionsExcellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsIs an active participant in department safety: Exhibits excellent safety practices and behaviors and follow the intended purpose of Valmont’s Safety policies and proceduresMust be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business plus 4 years work related experienceWorking knowledge of QADWorking knowledge of basic accounting functionsThe ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive mannerBenefitsValmont offers employees and their families a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefit package to ensure their individual and family’s overall wellness needs are met.
