Sr. Security Supervisor
Job Summary
Part of the Patrol Division, the Security Supervisor 2 leads a team of security officers who patrol assigned areas, ensuring the safety and security of the facility or property. This position involves planning patrol routes, monitoring officer performance, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security procedures are followed. The Security Supervisor 2 is expected to handle more complex security issues and often works closely with clinical and organizational leaders, law enforcement and/or emergency responders. The Security Supervisor 2 plays a key role in training and mentoring junior officers, ensuring they are equipped to handle various security challenges. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
Full Time Night Shift, hours are 10:45pm-7:15am with every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Education Requirements
• 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree
• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

• IAHSS Basic Level Certification (CHSO) - Must be obtained within 6 months of hire/placement

• IAHSS Supervisor Level Certification (CHSS) - Must be obtained within 18 months of hire/placement
