Non CDL Local Entry Level Driver Trainees in Oley, PA
Xpressway Trucking is hiring non CDL local entry level driver trainees in Oley, PA. This is a unique paid training opportunity to start a CDL driving career with Xpressway Trucking! Trainees will have 5 weeks of initial certified entry level driver training (ELDT). Upon CDL success drivers will then get behind the wheel with a trainer as their passenger for 4-8 weeks. Xpressway covers the cost of training and your CDL, you are resposible for the cost of your CDL learner's permit. As a trainee you are an employee on day 1 and there is a 2 year contract commitment. You'll learn how to operate and drive a variety of vehicles and trailers including tri-axle dump trucks, tractor trailers, dry van trailers, dump trailers, and walking floor trailers. Compensation
• Hourly pay during 5 week initial CDL training: $15
• Upon CDL success hourly pay during 4-8 week driving training: $20
• 40 - 60 hours weekly
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Referral bonus: $1,200 paid in increments over 1 year
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule
• Home time: Home daily & weekends!
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: During initial CDL training: 7:30am - 4pm
• Upon CDL success during driving training: 1st shift starting between 4-5am, finishing between 1-4pm
• Route: Upon CDL success local runs within 150 miles of Oley, PA
• Level of touch: No touch freight
• Must be able to climb in the back of the truck
• Responsible for cleaning out the dump bed
Equipment
• Late model Western Star & Freightliner tri-axle dump trucks and tractor trailers
• Dry van, dump, and walking floor trailers
• Automatic transmission
• Outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped with Teletrac system
Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No CDL required, we help train you to take your CDL skills test
• Trainees have a 2 year contract commitment
• No DUI/DWIs, prior positive drug/alcohol test results, or refusal to test results within the past 15 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 20 miles of Oley, PA or be willing to relocate for this position
