WHAT YOU WILL DO AS THE TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER:
• Lead the entire lifecycle (design, development, and execution) of a website replatform, including CMS implementation, for a critical vertical, with additional verticals expected to follow the successful implementation. Ensure the new website is user-friendly (both customers and internal CMS users), optimized for mobile devices, leverages SEO/AEO/GEO best practices, effectively showcases services, provides a simple and intuitive ecommerce flow, and integrates easily with internal software.
• Manage cross-functional technical programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration with existing systems and submissions services.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and external web development agencies and other software/platform vendors for this, and other initiatives.
• Maintain accountability for all project participants and provide guidance or raise escalations as appropriate.
• Implement and refine program management methodologies, including agile development methodologies, to optimize team workflows and project delivery, and track work using appropriate software (e.g., Jira).
• Drive continuous process improvement for projects, overseeing quality assurance and efficiency both before and after launch.
• Oversee risk management activities, identify potential technical impediments, and develop robust mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure all projects remain within financial expectations.
• Facilitate clear, effective and timely communication between technical teams, vendors, and non-technical business stakeholders, including through regular updates and maintaining a Steering Committee meeting.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role, particularly for large-scale Content Management System (CMS) implementations.
• Demonstrable experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and website development projects.
• Preferred experience with global project implementations or familiarity with international privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPL)
• Proficiency in project management methodologies like agile and hands-on experience using platforms like Jira.
• Experience with risk management, budget oversight, and driving process improvements.
• Knowledge and experience using content management platforms (CMS). Experience with Contentful CMS is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO, AEO and GEO practices.
• Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to manage external agency relationships and hold vendors accountabl
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of driving alignment across diverse teams without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (desired).
• PMP certification or similar (e.g., PgMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity (4 days in-office) from our offices in Sarasota, FL.
WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING WITH US:
• Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
• Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance
• PTO & Paid Holidays
• 401(k) retirement plan
