Juniper is Growing! We are seeking a Regional Field Operations Manager to manage and coordinate Juniper’s Training Program curriculum for our landscape maintenance branches in the designated region. This is a traveling position, covering locations from Naples up to Bradenton. Juniper is a full-service landscape design, build, and management company servicing the Southeast. Responsibilities: Oversight of Juniper Training Program curriculum: follow established curriculum, contribute additional lesson ideas, and deliver curriculum in an educational and professional manner Host guest speakers and coordinate field trips for training purposes Hands-on training of best practices in landscape maintenance and enhancement tasks, irrigation, pest management, and equipment operation for multiple landscape maintenance branches Serve in a supportive leadership capacity, coaching and guiding teams for skill development, productivity, and team morale rather than managing them directly. Manage a portfolio of large-scale work, including the creation and execution of Path of Motion maps and production plans in collaboration with individual branches. Influence operational change across branches, working with teams to adopt new processes and improve productivity. Support all Juniper Safety protocols and training programs Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Requirements: High School or equivalent GED required Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscaping industry Management experience Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the designated region (Naples to Bradenton). Familiarity with LEAN production systems and their application in landscape or field operations strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead through influence, with a servant leadership approach that supports team development and operational excellence. Solid communication skills (oral and written) leadership qualities, professionalism, and interpersonal flexibility Ability to deliver positive yet constructive instruction and feedback to trainees Receptivity to instruction and feedback from supervisors Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Task oriented and able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment Extensive operational responsibility and expertise in the horticulture, agriculture, or similar industries Hands-on understanding of best-practice landscape maintenance and construction techniques, methods, and tools; Proficiency with standard landscape maintenance equipment, such as backpack sprayers, pole saw/pruners, hand saws, lawnmowers greater than 36”, rototillers, brush chippers, aerators, and thatcher; and of basic sprinkler adjustments and repairs Experience working on large scale properties, municipalities or public trust lands is highly desirable Experience and/or aptitude to learn and embrace landscaping practices for natural and restored habitats Computer proficiency: experience with Aspire a plus Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record check We Welcome/Grow/Celebrate you at Juniper!
