Athens Chevrolet is hiring automotive and light truck technicians. GM experience is required. We are looking for someone with experience in diesel and/or transmission repair. Our repair center is always busy. There is plenty of work to increase earnings and technicians are not locked down to one bay. Weekends off. GM continuing education is provided and required for these positions. This is not an entry level position. Candidate must posses strong diagnostic and repair skills to qualify. We are looking for some one who has most or all of their GM certifications current. We require at least 5 years of Auto Technician / mechanical experience with strong diagnostic skills. Summary As an Automotive Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing GM vehicles, focusing on transmissions and other core automotive systems. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance will ensure optimal vehicle performance. With premium skills in dealership experience and understanding of ADAS, you will enhance service quality. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and auto estimating will foster strong client relationships.
