A growing, multi office, Architecture and Design firm is hiring a full time, in office Staff Accountant/ Business Manager to their Sarasota, FL office. Located downtown with beautiful views of the bay. Experience in accounting which includes complex invoicing - both sending out invoices as well as receiving invoices, AR/AP, bank reconciliation, payroll, project accounting, contracts, strong use of Microsoft Office suites and overall office operations/management. Responsibilities also include putting marketing proposals together, RFI's, light HR and reception. This is a growing office so we are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and take on tasks that may not be on a job description but need to get done, nonetheless. Someone who can be five steps ahead to keep the office and business running smoothly. 20+ years of experience with strong business acumen and can independently problem solve. We are hired by public and private investors, developers, franchises to provide design and architectural solutions. We have around 60 full time employees in NY, Dallas, and FL. Experience working with subcontractors and their invoices and payments, bookkeeping, overseeing and updating profit/loss statements, payroll, etc. are what we will be looking for.
