What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and cooperating with local authorities when required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
