Job Description
As a Security Officer - Super Shopping Center Patrol in Temple, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail and mall locations. Your presence on-site and commitment to customer service will contribute to a secure environment for customers and staff. This post involves regular driving responsibilities as you monitor various areas, always upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents at the assigned retail location to support the security-related objectives of Allied Universal and the client.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining professionalism.
• Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the retail location.
Minimum Requirements:
• This is primarily a driving post.
• A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A customer service background is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
