Nursing Assistant Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide medication administration as directed by nursing staff. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care. Support patients in emotional and physical comfort during their stay. Assist in hospice care for terminally ill patients with compassion and dignity. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient service. Provide care to diverse populations including children and geriatrics. Participate in emergency medicine situations when necessary. Assist in specialized areas such as PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) or other clinical settings as needed. Experience Previous experience working with children or in geriatrics is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is preferred. Experience in managing medical records and documentation processes is beneficial. Background in hospice care or similar environments is a plus. Knowledge of vital sign monitoring techniques is essential. Experience in clinic settings or emergency medicine will be advantageous.
