Open positions include Full-time and Part-time Animal Care Technicians for the Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving in Reading and the Betsy & Ted Lewin Adoption Center for Cats & Critters in Lancaster ; both are managed intake animal welfare facilities that shelter and rehome thousands of homeless pet animals each year. We offer community support through our many programs that focus on keeping animals in loving homes. BENEFITS Starting rate of $12.00-$14.00/per hour. THE PERSON Applicants must work well with people and have the ability to multitask and contribute as part of a team. Prior animal care experience in a professional setting is preferred. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of animal housing, caring for animals by providing them with exercise and enrichment as well as administering vaccines and medications. This position also works closely with our clients to provide education and counseling as they navigate the process of pet rehoming.
