Provides psychological assessments and recommendations. Completes Psychological assessments. Reviews client’s case history and determine the psychological services that are necessary; the assessment of services may address the following areas: personality, functioning, intellectual abilities, school achievement testing and vocations. Will work with medical practitioner to assist with referral and diagnosis of FASD. Administers and scores psychometric instruments, completes a mental status assessment, educational needs assessment and dictates a report summarizing these assessments. Consults on the substance abuse assessments. Provides a diagnosis utilizing current DSM. Meets with client/client family and when applicable, their provider of substance use services to review assessment. May provide individual, family and group therapy, as needed. Implements SFCS policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent SFCS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and all term contractual terms. Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels. Ensures clients’ rights are protected. Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures Requirements: Master's degree in psychology. Licensed in the State of Kansas as LMLP, LCP, LP. Prefer 2 years' experience. Must be 21 years of age. Must pass a physical examination, including drug screen Must pass an MVR, KBI and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
