Assumes specific responsibilities for a designated work area or function as determined by management staff. Coordinates the ongoing daily activities of the professional and technical staff and performs related work as a registered pharmacist. Duties include staff scheduling and monitoring compliance with Human Resources and the department policies and procedures and pertinent state and federal laws and regulations. Consults with customers on a regular basis to identify new opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs and expand services.St. Mary’s Hospital is seeking a highly motivated team member to lead our outpatient pharmacy. This pharmacy will serve our patients upon discharge, St. Mary’s staff, and Athens and the surrounding areas. Meds to bed will be an emphasis for this pharmacy team. The pharmacist-in-charge will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, and ensuring that all retail pharmacy staff provide service and operate in accordance with the rules and regulations with the Georgia board of pharmacy, federal laws, and the core values of St. Mary’s. The PIC will work with the pharmacy manager to ensure the best service is offered to our community. Position Requirements:A: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have completed all Georgia Licensure requirements and maintain a current Georgia Pharmacy License.B.
