About the Role:
Join our R&D team driving innovation across our customer's portfolio whom is in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry. We’re looking for a Principal Process Engineer to oversee all Pilot Plant operations, from Manufacturing and QA to Maintenance and Planning. You’ll lead small-scale production runs, optimize processes, and ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency while supporting innovation and future growth.
Responsibilities :
• Lead and manage all Pilot Plant operations and resources.
• Oversee small-scale production runs and distribution for trials and consumer tests.
• Optimize workflows, equipment, and spaces to improve efficiency and innovation.
• Manage the Pilot Plant budget, staffing, and operational programs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coach and develop Pilot Plant team members.
Experience & Skills :
• Minimally 5+ years in Food & Beverage R&D or process engineering, with team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, sanitary design, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Food Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with Acidified, Low Acid, High Acid, Carbonation, and Fermentation processes.
