Position Requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level React Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in web development to work on modern web applications and grow their skills in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 0-3 years experience
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and its application in React projects
• Proficiency with React hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useReducer, etc.)
• Understanding of React component rendering lifecycle and performance optimization
• Experience writing tests using Jest or Vitest (or similar testing frameworks)
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) features and syntax
• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles
• Understanding of version control with Git
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• TS Clearance required, TS/SCI preferred
Nice to Have
• Experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing
• Familiarity with NGINX for web server configuration and deployment
• Knowledge of Express.js for backend development or API integration
• Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing personal projects
Description
Job Duties
• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and team coding standards
• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest or Vitest to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to deliver high-quality features
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
• Contribute to technical documentation
