We’re excited to expand our footprint in Sarasota, Florida — and we’re looking for a client-focused, driven, and curious Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to help lead the way. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the ground up not only will you contribute to impactful water infrastructure projects, but you’ll also play a key role in growing our new office and building a high-performing local team .
What You’ll Do
• Lead and support the planning and design of drinking water, wastewater, and potable reuse projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate solutions and develop system improvements tailored to client needs.
• Provide engineering support during construction phases, ensuring successful implementation of facility upgrades and new installations.
• Help shape the culture and capabilities of our Sarasota office, mentoring junior staff and contributing to strategic growth.

Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment.
• Experience in drinking water, wastewater, and reuse systems, including project engineering/management (planning, design, and construction).
• Planning, design, and construction experience in wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump station, and treatment plants and knowledgeable about water systems.
• Experience in successfully delivering supporting projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Licensed professional engineer (PE).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation.

The base salary range for this position is $92,100.00 to $120,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
