Our CARF-accredited center helps patients maximize function and independence while preparing them for their return home. The Inpatient Rehabilitation is a team of healthcare professionals working together to serve people with functional disabilities, their families, and the community, along with St Mary’s Health Care System. We are helping our patients reach their full potential for independent living through education, therapeutic activities, and quality medical care. How you’ll contribute A Speech-Language Pathologist who excels in this role:Play an important part in helping our patient to recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilitiesCommunicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient recordsDocument patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirementsInstruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programsMaintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean conditionHandle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal lawsOther duties as assigned Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
