Our client, a leading organization in the chemical testing and quality assurance industry, is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Control Department supporting production and research & development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to teamwork, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Reading, PA
Pay Range: 20+ DOE
Shift: Night Shift (11pm - 7am), Sunday through Thursday
What's the Job?
• Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately using appropriate documentation systems
• Maintain cleanliness and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and regulatory standards
• Assist in troubleshooting and investigating product quality issues to support continuous improvement
What's Needed?
• Some chemistry education or background to understand testing procedures
• Willingness to learn and be trained on laboratory processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software systems
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
