HR Specialist
Are you a people-focused professional ready to make an impact in a dynamic, hands-on HR role? We're seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team and help shape the employee experience from recruitment to retirement.
In this role, you'll be a trusted partner across the organization - ensuring smooth operations in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll, compliance, and HR systems. You'll collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels to build a positive, supportive, and compliant workplace culture.
What You'll Do
• Recruit & Onboard Talent: Partner with managers to attract top candidates, manage interviews, and provide a seamless onboarding experience that sets employees up for success.
• Support Employee Success: Serve as a resource for employees, guiding them through policies, benefits, and day-to-day HR matters while fostering trust and engagement.
• Administer Benefits & Payroll: Oversee health, retirement, and wellness programs. Process payroll bi-weekly with precision and care.
• Manage HR Systems: Keep HRIS data accurate, generate reports, and assist with system updates and training initiatives.
• Ensure Compliance: Stay current on employment laws and maintain compliance across all HR functions, including audits and workplace postings.
• Champion Company Culture: Help drive training, performance reviews, and employee development initiatives that promote growth and accountability.
What You'll Bring
• 2–5 years of experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and payroll processing
• Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and iSolved; QuickBooks experience a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus
