Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a dedicated Systems Engineer to become a member of the Safety Integration Team.
As a Surety Integration Engineer, You Will
• Integrate cross-program safety disciplines into the architecture, requirements, and design of the next-generation Sea-Based Strategic Deterrence such that Surety is integral to the overall system
• Oversee the implementation of Safety into the design and build across disciplines, ensuring no Safety escapes across the system
• Ensure adherence to Nuclear Safety, Range Safety, and Personnel Safety requirements and best practices, and oversee the verification and test campaign to show compliance
• Ensure integration of Surety products such as Hazard Analyses, Fault Tree Analyses, and similar products to ensure full Surety coverage across the system throughout the entire lifecycle
• Ensure integration of multiple program disciplines to understand complex issues and develop a Nuclear Missile Surety that ensures the integrity of the Nuclear Surety Philosophy
• Support Operational Safety Studies (OSRs) and Special Safety Studies (SSS)
• Ensure integration of safety disciplines into cross branch problem investigations, coordinating with Navy partners and SPP Headquarters
• Generate & Review Project material for Support Equipment and Missile Alterations Projects
• Facilitate interaction among program safety stakeholders, including facility, material, explosive, range safety disciplines
