Job Responsibilities The Horticulture Instructor is an integral member of the Horticulture Department serving as an instructor, academic advisor, and career mentor to students within the department. Responsibilities also include involvement in new student recruitment activities, continual curriculum development and improvement, and development of relationships with the local horticulture industry.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A master’s degree in Horticulture or a related field such as Forestry, Landscape and Nursery, Plant Science, Botany, etc. is required.
Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience as well as five (5) years of industry-related work experience is preferred.
