CNC Laser Engineer opening with a growing manufacturing team in Greenwood, SC. Join a stable, clean, cutting-edge company that values innovation and precision machining. As a Laser Engineer , you’ll program, operate, and improve CNC laser processes to bring new products from concept to production.

Schedule: 4x10s  Monday – Thursday  2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• Program, operate, and optimize CNC laser machines for sheet metal fabrication.
• Design and modify components in AutoCAD or SolidWorks .
• Support new product development , scale-up, and process improvement efforts.
• Troubleshoot and eliminate laser quality issues; ensure adherence to 6S standards.
• Read blueprints and use precision measurement tools to verify part accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Operate forklifts and assist with material handling as needed.
Qualifications:
• 1–2 years of AutoCAD/SolidWorks design experience or equivalent.
• 1+ year of hands-on laser programming and nesting experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills (including trigonometry), and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes (shear, press, turret, welding) preferred.
• Experience with Radan nesting software a plus.
