Manager, Project Management, Full Time
Job Duties And Responsibilities
• Develop PMO team and lead the day-to-day operations of the PMO, including project tracking, project prioritization, and reporting to leadership.
• Partner with administrative team and system leadership to define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.
• Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks, templates, and best practices. Identify and implement PM software.
• Oversee a portfolio of clinical and operational projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings, steering committee updates, and risk mitigation planning.
• Mentor leaders in project management methodologies.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure alignment and communication
• Provide and lead transparent reporting to leadership and appropriate committees on project progress, KPIs, risks, and resource needs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial, and privacy requirements related to projects.
Education And Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field required
• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or MPH) preferred
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting but not required
• 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or PMO role preferred
License And Certification Requirements
• Project Manager Certification Required - PMP, CAPM or Lead Six Sigma
