Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Job Location: Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Sarasota Florida (Multiple offices)
Salary: $140k-180k+
Requirements: 8+ years of civil engineering and land development experience. PE License in Florida required.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and manage various infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development and a proven track record in residential, commercial, and roadway projects. This role requires expertise in site grading, stormwater management, utility construction, and drainage solutions, with proficiency in AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Design and analyze land development plans for residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Conduct site grading and drainage design to meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee utility construction and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare reports, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed engineering drawings and plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
• Strong knowledge of site grading, stormwater management, and utility construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other civil engineering software.
