Plant Manager
We are currently partnered with a leading producer of building and construction materials and are targeting an experienced Plant Management professional. As the Plant Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and supply chain functions. This role requires a results-driven leader with a proven track record in managing industrial manufacturing environments, optimizing plant performance, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee development.
• Manage plant budgets, cost controls, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, procurement, and HR.
• Lead lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve process and product quality.
• Maintain effective communication with executive leadership and provide regular reports on plant performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant safety standards, and quality systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
