Contract Finance Director
Job Title: VP Finance/ CFO Contract (nonprofit), seeking immediate start
Location: Onsite – Reading, PA
Compensation: $55–$57.00/hour
Type: Temp/Contract, 3+ months
1099 or W2 available (comes with benefits)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide financial leadership for a nonprofit healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong nonprofit finance expertise, with hands-on experience in revenue cycle management, billing, collections, and financial analysis. This role will be onsite and play a critical part in ensuring the integrity of financial operations during the transition period.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with nonprofit and healthcare regulations.
• Manage revenue cycle activities, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Support leadership with budgeting, grant reporting, and audit preparation.
• Evaluate and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and processes.
• Partner with operations and leadership to provide actionable financial insights.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Sage Intaact experience is a plus, not required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership, including nonprofit
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle, billing, and collections.
• Skilled in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly in an interim setting.
• NONPROFIT or Healthcare experience required
