About The Associate Housing Coordinator Role
As an Associate Housing Coordinator within our County Programs team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that individuals in need have access to safe and stable housing, along with the support services necessary to live independently in the community. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate and resourceful and thrives in fast-paced environments where collaboration matters.
Starting Rate: $47, 819.20, based on experience and qualifications
Associate Housing Coordinator Core Responsibilities
• Assist in the coordination of housing programs, including rental assistance, housing placements, tenant support services, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and housing agencies to facilitate housing placements.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient and effective delivery of housing services.
• Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Serve as primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision-making power in resolving complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to housing activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance the resident experience and community engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulator changes to inform decision-making and enhance service delivery.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Education or related field. Three (3) years of experience in the mental health field, including two (2) of those years in an administrative and/or supervisory position(s).
• A combination of relevant experience and education considered.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Commitment to person-centered, ethical practice.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Required clearances (Act 33, Act 34, FBI fingerprinting) and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and work in an office environment

Location & Schedule
This position is based in Berks County, PA. Work is primarily remote with periodic in-office responsibilities.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
County Programs require in-office and community-based work
