Summary The BioTechnology Fulfillment Specialist plays a critical role in the handling of biological donations and the distribution of final products within a biotechnology company. This position is responsible for receiving, checking in, stocking, and shipping biological materials and supplies while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Responsibilities Focus Areas: Based on your background, strengths, and team needs, you may be placed into one of the following functional areas within our department: 1. Distribution & Logistics Support day-to-day coordination of domestic and international shipments. Receive and check in supplies and biological tissue donations. Stock inventory using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method. Apply appropriate labels and stickers to incoming supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all distribution and storage areas. Obtain certificates for quarantined supplies and ensure proper documentation. Complete waste disposal forms in accordance with safety and compliance standards. Manage and restock company Costco shipments as needed. Prepare shipping documentation and assist with third-party logistics provider (3PL) coordination. Track and confirm deliveries, and help resolve shipping-related issues. 2. Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Identify and locate required supplies and materials. Transfer and stock inventory across internal and third-party storage locations. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements related to inventory management. 3. Regulatory Labeling Operations Assist in the creation, revision, and control of product labels in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU MDR). Support documentation and version control for both clinical and commercial product labels. Coordinate with vendors on label printing and packaging. High level of integrity and accountability in handling sensitive biological materials. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in a regulated environment handling biological materials Qualification High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or biotechnology preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow protocols and regulatory requirements. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation. Ability to lift and move supplies/materials as needed, up to 50 lbs.
