Material Specialist – Contract to Hire
Leading aerospace company is looking for a Material Specialist to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity in Birdsboro, PA.
Shift of the Material Specialist:
6am to 3:30pm 9/80 Schedule
Pay Rate of the Material Specialist:
$21/hr
Responsibilities of the Material Specialist:
• Material handling activities including receiving storage and kitting of materials for   production build requirements. Receive material from supply chain into ERP system
• Kitting parts
• Material transfers to and from incoming inspection department (RII)
• Distribute direct material purchases to various departments
• Reconcile previous day’s inventory transactions
• Perform periodic cycle count and part verification
Requirements of the Material Specialist:
• High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of work-related experience.
• Medium level comprehension: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP base system navigation
• All employees are required to complete ESD, Hazard communication and safety training
• Forklift certification a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years minimum in a Warehousing Inventory environment
• Lean Six Sigma a plus
