The Role
We are hiring one Python Scraping Engineer Intern (Playwright/Selenium/Scrapy Expert) for an 8–12 week, unpaid internship.
This role focuses exclusively on:
• Building advanced scrapers that extract decision-maker-level contact data (not generic business numbers)
• Handling dynamic, JavaScript-heavy sites using Playwright or Selenium
• Implementing proxy rotation, retries, and captcha solving
• Producing clean, validated, de-duplicated datasets that plug directly into outbound campaigns
We are looking to bring someone on this week, so only applicants with demonstrated, production-grade scraping projects will be considered.
Application Requirement
Please share your best scraping project to date, along with a short explanation of:
• What site or type of data you scraped
• The level of data you were able to get (basic listings, enriched contacts, direct owner info, etc.)
• How you handled challenges like dynamic content, proxies, captchas, or retries
• The final output (CSV, database, enrichment, etc.)
A Loom video walkthrough is welcome but not required. The key is showing us the strongest example of your scraping work and the level of data you can actually deliver.
We are only considering top-level, production-quality work, not tutorial or academic code.
• ResponsibilitiesBuild scrapers that target business owners, principals, and executives (direct contacts, not front desk numbers)
• Scrape public records and directories with advanced anti-bot defenses
• Ensure scrapers are scalable, resilient, and automated
• Maintain clean, export-ready datasets with validation and deduplication
• Document every scraper with source notes, compliance considerations, and usage instructions
• RequirementsStrong Python scraping skills with Playwright or Selenium, plus BeautifulSoup/lxml or Scrapy
• Proven experience with proxy rotation, captcha solving, and anti-bot tactics
• Ability to produce production-ready scrapers (not just hobby scripts)
• Experience outputting clean, normalized datasets
• Strong documentation habits and a compliance-aware mindset

• Compensation: Unpaid for 8–12 weeks. If funding is secured during or after the internship, a full-time paid position with ReplyQuick will be offered
