Job Summary: Revolution Industrial is seeking an NC Operator who is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining numerical control machines, ensuring high-quality production in a safe and efficient manner. The operator will work with various metals such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum to produce parts that meet detailed specifications. Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Machine Setup & Operation: Set up NC machines according to technical specifications and work orders. Load materials into the machine and perform calibration checks. Monitor machine operations to ensure precision in production processes. Adjust machine settings as necessary to keep product quality and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required tolerances and quality standards. Use precision measuring tools (Measuring Tape, calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify the dimensions and tolerances of machined parts. Document production results and report any defects or discrepancies. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubrication. Identify and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve any complex machine malfunctions. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or violations to supervisors at once. Follow company policies and procedures, as well as Industry standards. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production teams, engineers, and quality control departments. Provide feedback on machine performance and suggest improvements to processes. Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance. Additional Responsibilities: Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge Skills And Abilities: Examples: Strong understanding of machine operation and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques. Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make minor adjustments. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED (required); technical training in CNC/NC machine operation is a plus. 1-3 years of experience operating NC or CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Capability to lift materials weighing up to 30 lbs. Manual dexterity for handling tools and parts. Work Environment: Work may take place in a noisy or temperature-variable environment. May involve working in shifts, including nights and weekends. What do we offer?
