Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant opening! This direct hire opportunity offers full time hours, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Pay is $55,000/annually.
In this role you will:
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and year end closing requirements
• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reviews, and account reconciliations
• Analyze balance sheets and profit and loss accounts for audits
• Prepare internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system
• Ensure sales and use tax is booked correctly
• Compile all W-9’s and prepare/send out all 1099’s and 1096’s
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Candidates must have strong Excel skills and experience using an ERP, preferably SAP.
