Ensure materials are in place, product flow is efficient, and the production schedule is adhered to.Participate in operational and safety training of associates on teamReports operational issues to SupervisorEnsures sufficient staff to meet production needs, reports attendance/numbers to SupervisorMonitors production flow, sequencing, and numbers – reports to SupervisorReports BOM and engineering errors to SupervisorFills in online where necessary through shiftProvides technical support and guidance to line associatesMonitors quality in assigned area and reports issues to SupervisorCompletes and/or monitors production charts and documentationEvaluates scrap/waste/rework during shift, assesses causes, and reports to SupervisorMonitors and reports on TPMParticipates in and supports CI processEnsures KPI boards are current, and all checklists are being filled outEnsures communication with appropriate coordinators to ensure smooth product flow and material management through the plantPerforms other duties as necessary in support of business objectives Education RequirementHigh School diploma or equivalent ExperienceIdeally, the qualified candidate must possess:Experience in a high paced manufacturing environment3 – 5 years’ relevant experienceVerbal and written communication skills (English)Should possess problem solving skills and facilitate group meetingsComputer skills – JDE, Excel, WordKnowledge of manufacturing operationsKnowledge of fundamental Safety principles for an industrial work environmentMust have experience with process improvement,Skilled in the operation of manufacturing equipment for designated areaSome lean manufacturing knowledge & implementationKnowledge of ISO 14001/9001 requiredStrong skills in the following areas:Communication (written & verbal)AnalyticalOrganizationWho We Hire?Simply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
