Metropolitan Companies is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team! The IT System Administrator is responsible for providing IT technical support and project work within the IT department. This position will report to the Director of ERP/IT. Key Responsibilities
· Install and configure software and hardware
· Assist in management of network servers and technology tools
· Set up accounts and workstations
· Monitor performance and maintain system according to requirements
· Troubleshoot issues and outages
· Upgrade systems with new releases and models
· Complete remote site evaluations and support cases as needed.
· Maintain any database connections for ERP systems.

Requirements
· BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
· Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
· Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
· Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
· Database experience
· Familiarity with various operation systems and platforms
· Ability to travel to company sites for IT support
· Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
