**Job Title:** General Ultrasound Technologist
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 AM - 06:00 PM)
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images and providing critical information to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong commitment to patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine and specialized ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment properly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Current ARDMS certification required.
- Ability to obtain state licensure prior to the start date.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to float to different units within the facility or affiliate hospitals nearby.
- Candidates must have a clean background with no pending licenses.
**Shift and Scheduling:**
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Flexibility to cover some holidays and weekends as needed.
- Must submit any requested time off (RTO) with the initial application; preferences for time off during the first two weeks of assignment will not be accommodated.
**Patient Care Environment:**
- Experience in a community hospital or related healthcare facility is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems is a plus.
**Work Location:**
- Willing to accept candidates willing to commute within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
