If You Have:
• An associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience;
• OR
• Four (4) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience;
• OR
• Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Budget Analyst 1 (FIP010) or equivalent position;
• Experience in governmental or non-profit accounting
• Knowledge of state and federal financial regulations
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
You Will Be:
• Preparing and managing program-specific budgets
• Entering and tracking expenses, and preparing journal entries as necessary
• Monitoring spending against approved budgets and reporting variances
• Preparing budget summaries for program management and collaborating with department heads and leadership to provide budget insights and forecasts
• Supporting audits, grant reporting, and funding documentation
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
